This 140W power station might be the ultimate charger for Apple users [Video]

I have tested and used countless charging stations over the years, and while many of them get the job done, I feel like there is always some sort of compromise. Whether it’s not enough power, lack of a certain port that I need, or slow wireless charging, I have yet to find one that truly checks every box for me. I have tested and used countless charging stations over the years, and while many of them get the job done, I feel like there is always some sort of compromise. Whether it’s not enough power, lack of a certain port that I need, or slow wireless charging, I have yet to find one that truly checks every box for me. But over the last month, I have been using CUKTECH’s new 140W Powerstation, and it has nailed everything. It is a six-in-one desktop charger with a built-in retractable cable, magnetic wireless charging, and a dedicated diagnostic display, all in an aesthetic, compact package. Here is everything you need to know and why I think it’s worth considering.

CUKTECH 15 specs and features

At its core, the CUKTECH 15 PowerStation is a 140W GaN charger. It can charge one device at the full 140W, meaning it can charge your 16-in MacBook Pro PROLED XDR at max speed, or it can divvy up that power to charge up to six devices at once. It also offers a great combination of ports, a built-in cable, and multiple wireless charging options. You get:

- 140W max combined output

- 140W PD 3.1 USB-C port

- Built-in 120W retractable USB-C cable that is 70cm

- 33W secondary USB-C port

- 22.5W USB-A port

- 15W magnetic wireless charger

- Secondary 5W wireless charger for earbuds

- 1.8in TFT diagnostics display

- Compact metal and plastic design

- Anti-slip feet

Of course, the biggest selling point is the versatility of it all. You can charge your MacBook Pro with the main USB-C port, charge your iPad with the built-in cable, place your iPhone on the MagSafe charger, and place your AirPods on the wireless charging pad. After all of that, there are still more ports for other accessories that I use daily.

Do keep in mind that the 140W output is the total output, so if more devices are added, that output is shared across all the connected devices.

My experience

I am someone who is constantly switching between so many Apple devices. I switch between my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro all the time, and now that it is techtember, I am testing multiple iPhones at the same time, so I need to make sure all of my devices are charged up for when I need them. Not only that, but I also need a USB-A port for my camera battery charging station. So having a centralized hub to charge all of my devices is a MUST in my desk setup. So what immediately stands out to me about the CUKTECH 15 is how much functionality they were able to pack into this relatively compact charging station.

I am a huge fan of built-in retractable cables; they eliminate the need to remember to carry a USB-C cable, so you know you can charge at least one device. Then you add in the wireless magnetic charging stand that supports the new iPhone Duo and StandBy Mode, all while keeping the iPhone upright and visible. Also, when you set up that magnetic charging pad in the upright position, it reveals an AirPods Pro charger. The design is so well thought out.

The cherry on top of it all is the display. I love being able to see how fast something is charging. It allows me to see whether products meet their charging speed standards and how different devices are affected by their charge levels. CUKTECH was also smart to still include one USB-A port. Lots of companies have decided to omit that port because it is an old standard, but there are still plenty of older and wacky tech that uses USB-A, so the inclusion is appreciated. The only thing missing is a dedicated Apple Watch charger, but I just plug in my own when I need it.

Pricing & availability

The CUKTECH 15 140W Charging Station is available today on Amazon for $149. It has been out in Europe for a little while, but now it has finally made it to the US!

Final thoughts

There are plenty of charging stations on the market, but CUKTECH’s 140W power station is the first to check off all the boxes for me. It’s compact, looks great, has all the ports and charging methods I need, and features a beautiful TFT display that lets me know things are charging as they should. If you use multiple devices throughout the day and need them charged at all times, this is worth considering.

What do you think? Is this something you would use? How many devices do you normally have on you? Let’s discuss below!
