Fans who have pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto 6 can preload the game starting next week to ensure that they're able to launch it as soon as it's released in their region. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players who bought GTA 6 through their console's digital storefront can preload it starting Nov. 10 at midnight. However, those who ordered the code-in-box edition will have to wait until Thursday.
As players get ready to pick up their physical editions of GTA 6, local retailers have started preparing for the onslaught of gamers bound to rush to stores on Nov. 12. Shipments have seemingly arrived at MediaMarkt stores in Germany, and the retailer was quick to show the physical edition of Grand Theft Auto 6 on its Instagram stories. Thanks to this, we were able to get a first look at the poster that will be given to those who pre-ordered the game.
An employee also shared a close-up of the exterior of the box, revealing the official game description, screenshots of Jason, Lucia, and Leonida, and labels such as online support and in-game purchases. Players perked up at the thought of online support, though at this point, it likely refers to mini-game leaderboards rather than GTA Online.
We've known for months that GTA 6 is set to release on Nov. 19. Nevertheless, it's still hard for some to believe that launch day is nearly, finally here. The fact that people are now able to hold Grand Theft Auto 6 in their hands (even though physical editions don't actually include a disc) makes this whole thing feel even more real.
