Strengths

- The number of active MoE parameters is not the same as the total weight volume and memory requirement.
Best applications
Separate the Downloadable Version from the Display Name
The official Llama 4 announcement introduces Scout and Maverick for download. The same announcement describes Behemoth as a model under development; it should not be assumed to be a released version simply because its name is present.
Important Note on Memory
In the mixture-of-experts architecture, a portion of the parameters are activated when generating a response; however, the total volume of weights still affects memory requirements. The "active parameter" figure alone is not a hardware-buying guide.
Llama is the model family name and Meta AI is a product name. Do not generalize online product features to the local version of the model.
