Anthropic's official announcements introduce Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, and Haiku 5.5. Fable 5.1 is also generally available; Mythos 5.1 is restricted to approved access programs.
Which One to Choose?
For daily work, first evaluate output quality and response time with a real sample. Choosing a larger name alone does not guarantee a better result; a reference text, clear prompt, and output review are still necessary.
Claude Code is a product for working on code, while Claude is also the name of the assistant and the model family. Do not assume the terms of use for the chat environment and the API are identical.
