Credit: Rushil Agrawal / Android Authority TL;DR The Galaxy A38’s battery capacity has leaked, suggesting an upgrade to 6,000mAh. This is exciting since the Galaxy A30 series has maintained a 5,000mAh battery since the Galaxy A31 from six years ago. The Galaxy A38 is also likely to maintain a maximum charging speed of 45W. The next generation of Samsung’s A series phones may be months away from launch, but leaks already point to their likely specifications. Earlier today, we learned the Galaxy A58’s top charging speed, following a leak last month about the Galaxy A58’s and the A38’s cameras . While both these leaks were far from exciting, a newer one suggests the Galaxy A38 could finally get a meaningful upgrade we’ve been waiting for. A recent report by the Dutch blog Galaxy Club suggests the Galaxy A38 could get a big boost in battery life. As per the leak, the Galaxy A38’s battery is rated at 5,882mAh and would likely be advertised with a typical capacity of 6,000mAh. That is a noticeable jump over the 5,000mAh battery that the past several generations of the Galaxy A30 series phones have had — the Galaxy A31 was the first phone in the series with a 5,000mAh battery.
