Code discovered in the iOS 27.3 beta suggests that HomeView is set to gain support for third-party AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Claude.
A leaker spotted the first clue to this a few days ago, and in an updated post says that this feature “is happening” …
Leaker pdfu said at the start of the month that ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps “may” be coming to HomeView, after spotting an unused flag for ConversationalApps. They now say that the beta of iOS 26.3 confirms their suspicion.
It’s happening, folks: AI apps are coming to HomeView. PebblePlay, HomeView’s CarPlay bridge, gets the Conversational Apps category in iOS 27.3.
They also highlight other things discovered in the beta.
Apple uses these flags to determine which categories of third-party apps are allowed to run on the device, in the same way as it does with CarPlay.
The same leaker recently discovered evidence that HomeView will be able to serve as a HomeKit security camera.
